SIN AND HUMAN BROKENNESS

We believe that humanity fell into sin through rebellion and disobedience against God.

Sin has affected every dimension of human existence, producing guilt, corruption, spiritual death, broken relationships, injustice, bondage, suffering, and separation from God.

No person can restore themselves to right relationship with God through morality, religion, achievement, good works, or human effort.

Humanity therefore stands in need of God's saving grace.
